They would meet you individually first, at your nearest office, to discuss the issue with each of you separately. They will then collate any evidence provided by either of you, such as tenancy agreements, and get all the background. Once this is complete, they will arrange a meeting for you both, to help you work towards an agreement, supported by a trained mediator. Once you reach an agreement, they will draft a memorandum of understanding for you both to sign, to set out what you have agreed. The cost is £120 per person per hour, which is usually shared between both parties.
