You will each have an initial individual meeting with a trained mediator, to help you to identify the difficult issues. This usually takes about an hour. Surrey Mediation Services will then prepare a plan for a joint mediation session, during which they will help you to go through the issues, and reach an agreement. They will then produce a memorandum of understanding, setting out what has been agreed, which can be made into a legally-binding separation agreement by their solicitors.
Meetings will take place at Surrey Mediation Services’ offices in Ripley, near Woking, in Surrey, or in Wallington, near Sutton, whichever is more convenient for you. For more information, or to discuss your needs for mediation, email email@example.com or call 0330 111 0824 between 9am and 8pm Monday toFriday, or 10am to 2pm Saturday.
